No swipe required after screen shut off (I still have my BatPro disabling screen lock) and no pattern required from opening via task bar. I found out I had an upgrade to 4.1.2 avail to me, so I did it. At first, it didn't lock anything when I turned off the screen, but when I wanted to open something via the top task bar.THEN it made me do my pattern.WEIRD~! Then it suddenly decided to make me have to swipe after my screen was turned off.
Although, I have a BatPro app that disables the lock screen. I didn't realize it wasnt updated, so I put all my apps and stuff and started using.
